The Christian Community Fair is looking for compassionate, energetic and talented partners who volunteer their time, ideas and skills to coordinate the largest Christian event of the year. Volunteer Opportunities are available for both prior to the event as well as the event day.

Twin Cities Christian Community Fair 2010

Greeters – welcome our guests with warm words and a smile while handing them their goody bag.

Information Booth – represent the Christian Community Fair at our booth answering questions about the fair – event schedule, vendors, zones and activities. An extra team meeting will be required prior to the event for this role.

Information Booth Runner – hanging out at the information booth in the event contact with a vendor or staff member is necessary and we need to seek them out.

Kid Zone ~ Craft Area Helper – help kids get the supplies needed for their craft and assist in completion if necessary. Keep area clean and orderly throughout your shift.

Kid Zone ~ Inflatable Monitor – Ensure there is an appropriate number of kids in or on the inflatable, shoes are off, and rules are followed. Move line of kids through as needed and establish time limit if necessary.

Phone Call Help to Churches – a team to assist in calling area churches to request their help in communicating the fair to their congregations. This role does require a greater time commitment and training. Please contact us to discuss this volunteer opportunity and time commitment.

Post-Event Administration Follow-Up – a team to assist with administration items such as thank yous, copies, filing, etc.

Pre-Event Bag Stuffers – this evening opportunity is to stuff the bags we hand out to our guests as they enter the Fair with advertisements and treats we receive from vendors, sponsors, and donors.

Set up Assistance Friday Morning/Afternoon – arrive before the event to help vendors bring in their booth equipment and supplies in a timely manner to ensure fluent set up and traffic movement through the garage after registration is complete. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs for this role.

Stage Area Hospitality – keep the Northwestern Café area clean and comfortable for our guests. This includes picking up trash left behind, wiping off tables, cleaning up the floors and straitening up tables and chairs.

Take Down Saturday Evening – at the end of the event to help vendors bring in their booth equipment and supplies in a timely manner to ensure fluent set up and traffic movement through the garage after registration is complete. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs for this role.
